FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. Freedom and Glory holds an official partnership with Scouting America®, ensuring that all our troop flags are fully licensed by the organization.

All custom Scouting America® flags are made from the same 200 denier nylon used on all our nylon U.S.A., state, and military flags. It is lightweight enough to fly easily in any breeze, yet durable enough to last through long-term outdoor use.

These flags are single-sided. Compared to double-sided flags, which consist of two pieces of fabric sewn together with a third piece of material between, single-sided flags fly a lot easier because they are more lightweight.

The size of your flag depends on how and where you plan to display it. Here’s a breakdown of the options to help you choose the right fit for your troop:

52" x 66" Flags: Perfect for creating a commanding visual presence, this size ensures your flag stands out at troop events, parades, or large gatherings.
3’ x 5’ Flags: As the most popular size, these flags are ideal for outdoor displays on 15–20' flagpoles when purchased without the fringe. They complement other flags in your display, such as state or military flags, making them versatile and visually cohesive. 3’ x 5’ fringed flags create visually pleasing presentations for indoor and parade use.
18" x 24" Flags: The smallest troop flags, these are ideal for intimate settings like campsites or local gatherings. Their compact size makes them highly portable and easy to display.

Choose the size that best suits your troop’s needs to proudly showcase your identity and values. Just keep in mind, if displaying alongside an American flag, the national emblem should be at least one size larger.

We recommend purchasing the 3' x 5' indoor flag for parades, formal ceremonies, and community events. This flag features an elegant gold fringe for added beauty and elegance and will easily complement other parade flags in your display.
